Build Brighton Dome

Why we need your support

We are breathing new life into our Grade I & II listed historic venues, developing artistic spaces and creating a community hub. The project already has 90% of funding in place but we need your help to go all the way.

Much more than a Concert Hall…

  • 1 in 3.5 households in the city engage with our activities
  • Last year we reached 669,617 audiences, participants & visitors
  • 17,725 people took part in creative learning activities
  • Presented over 30 world and UK premiers

Brighton Dome has a 200-year history as a royal riding house and stables, a roller skating ring, a hospital during World War I, and now as a leading performing arts venue.

You've graduated, danced, laughed, cried, fallen in love and married under our roof. Our transformational project will restore long lost heritage features, provide state-of-the-art facilities and create new spaces for everyone to explore their creativity. We may have begun as a playground for a Prince but we’re reopening for everyone.

Our Legacy

Brighton Dome is part of The Royal Pavilion Estate, an internationally recognised symbol of the city of Brighton & Hove. The transformation of Brighton Dome Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre is phase one of a much larger project that will see the estate revitalised and protected for future generations.

This will create a world-class cultural destination for heritage, culture and the performing arts infused with the vibrant spirit of Brighton past, present and future.
